5280 Radon initially failed to successfully diagnose the problem, even after installing a temporary second radon system to enhance the airflow from under our vapor barrier, but they refused to give up. They brought in an expert from Colorado Springs who was the head of the radon school where the owners of 5280 Radon learned their craft. He put test equipment in almost every room in our home, and we tested from the attic to the crawl space to the garage. We discovered that the radon level in our three-car garage peaked as high as 45 overnight, and that very-high level of radon was seeping into our storeroom and affecting the levels through our home. The expert recommended a second radon system to draw air from under the concrete slab in our garage. 5280 Radon did an excellent installation for us, and our radon levels now average below 1.0 throughout our house, in the unfinished storeroom, and in our garage. Thanks to 5280 Radon, we now feel good about taking deep breaths in all areas of our home.
